ExaNOS is a carrier-grade IP Network Operating System (NOS) created by Exaware, formerly Compass Networks. The NOS integrates high-scale, feature-rich routing software with a low cost, off-the-shelf white boxes, a software that is tuned and optimized for the underlying infrastructure. ExaNOS is a fully operational, cell to core routing solution that was integrated and validated in Tier 1 networks. ExaNOS is applicable for mobile backhaul, peering, edge and core applications.
